Just kidding…of course! Last week I ran out of protein and was in a bit of a pinch. I had plans for lunch at 1230 and it was 1030 post workout. I had to eat something but didn’t want a full breakfast. A quick protein shake should do the job. Yup… no protein. Instead I came up with this and it tasted delicious; and by delicious I mean just like a Wendy’s frosty.
Take the following and throw into blender
~15 ice cubes
~1 heaping teaspoon of unsweetened cocoa powder
~1/2 a banana
~ 1 heaping teaspoon of almond butter
~3/4 cup almond milk
~1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Crank up your blender and let it get all smoothie like and drink! Super tasty! High in protein and very paleo!!
